He travelled throughout the country, writing about and painting the people and scenes he encountered both in towns and in the desert. He spent a considerable time with the Bedouin tribes CONDITION Blue cloth highly illustraded to front and spine with bright Gilt Lotus illustration with Green and Yellow detailing, pp xiv 246 with 75 illus plates in colour, publishers advertising at rear. Cloth a little rubbed at spine ends and tips, gift inscription inside front, mostly clean and crisp copy with undamages tissue guards, lightest spotting to ends and odd pages, ex National Library with two stamps, tidy number to spine and copy right page otherwise n near fine condition OVERWEIGHT. Good/No Jacket.
