Title: Famous Negro Sermons
Description: Hollywood, USA, The Oliver Press. 1927, First Edition. Leatherette, 32mo - over 4" - 5" tall. Written by an evangelist preacher from Mississippi. It is written phonetically in the negro vernacular. CONDITION Red Leatherette (called so to rear) actually Rexine with yapped edges, not lined. It is not in the greatest condition with the front cover split to the bottom two thirds, the title page missing, 173 pages with advertising for his other pamphlets to last page. Mostly quite tight but the last few pages from page 169 onwards which contain a "statement of faith" by the author (not the sermons) are frayed and torn with some loss. There is also writing to one page internally over text in ball point and ticks to another, odd tear o/w with very off fox spot. Fair/N/A.
